Session 3 – Addressing Discrepancies in Discipline Data and Action Planning

Guides staff in analyzing discipline practices to uncover potential inequities. The session culminates in developing classroom and school-wide action steps to reduce bias-driven disparities in behavior outcomes

Package B:

Challenging Conversations that Change Outcomes

2 PD Sessions designed to train and prepare staff to engage in meaningful equity-focused dialogue and translate discussions into improved relationships and practices with students.

Session 1 – Leading Courageous Conversations about Inclusion and Equity

Introduces strategies for holding safe, structured conversations about race, identity, and privilege. Staff learn how to establish dialogue norms and approach sensitive topics with empathy and respect.

Session 2 –Strategies for Effective Communication and Respect for Identity

Builds on courageous conversation skills by adding practical classroom techniques for affirming identity and navigating cross-racial dynamics with scholars and families.
